Information We Collect
MardiPay is built with a data-minimization philosophy. We only collect the minimal technical data necessary to deliver fast, secure payment services:
1. Account & Profile Identifiers
When you create an account, we associate your verified phone number with your generated non-custodial smart wallet address and optional public display name so others can send you funds by phone number.
2. Transaction Metadata
We index on-chain metadata associated with your transfers (including token symbols, transaction hashes, timestamps, and recipient addresses) to display your real-time wallet balance and activity feed.
3. Diagnostic & Telemetry Data
To keep the platform performant and bug-free, we log anonymous technical parameters like browser types, operating systems, and crash reports.
What We Never Access or Store
MardiPay is completely non-custodial. We have zero access to your cryptographic private keys, seed phrases, or master encryption keys. Your funds remain under your exclusive control at all times.
How We Use Your Information
We process collected information strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- Facilitating Payments: Resolving phone numbers to public wallet addresses for instant peer-to-peer dollar settlements.
- Transaction History & Receipts: Generating formatted payment receipts, notifications, and exportable ledger histories.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Preventing automated bots, DDoS attacks, and abuse on our authentication endpoints.
- Platform Improvements: Monitoring transaction latency and user interface performance.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We will never sell or monetize your information. We disclose data solely in these specific contexts:
- Public Blockchain Records: Transactions broadcast to the Solana network are immutable, public, and replicated across global validators. Anyone can inspect on-chain transfer details using block explorers.
- Infrastructure Providers: We utilize specialized infrastructure (e.g. Helius RPC nodes, Cloudflare CDN) solely to route RPC calls and encrypt web traffic.
- Legal Compliance: If compelled by lawful subpoenas or court orders, we may provide the limited operational data available in our database.
Security Safeguards
We employ end-to-end TLS encryption, secure session tokens, rate-limiting, and constant security monitoring. However, no internet-connected platform can guarantee 100% security. You are responsible for safeguarding your personal device, browser sessions, and phone number access.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to request a copy of the personal data we store, request the correction of inaccurate profile information, or request account deactivation. Note that on-chain blockchain records cannot be altered or erased due to the decentralized nature of Solana.
